Civic.sg

Civic.sg's mission is to explore the potential of pol.is, a civic tech tool, to pave the way for a more engaged and participative citizenry for complex, divisive and polarizing issues in Singapore. Pol.is is an AI-powered conversation platform that instantly analyzes the sentiments of large groups of people towards a particular issue. Pol.is clusters users who voted similarly into opinion groups (using real-time machine learning) and visualizes those groups in real time. Pol.is is different from other tools for surveys and polls in that it crowdsources and co-creates the survey with the participants. The insights from pol.is' emergent survey technology can be used by governments, organisations or communities to shape their engagement strategies, policies and decisions.
