Background
Where useful, IPS and/or socialcollab.sg helps to host and facilitate various networks or communities of practice of various scales and purposes, such as the Social Inclusion Policy Network, the Disability Community Network, the Service Learning Community of Practice, and the Community Development Network. In order to help different community assets come together to share knowledge, collaborate and contribute to the development of the non-profit sector, we want to reduce the cost of convening networks and demonstrate that useful relationships and meaningful projects can emerge from networks designed to allow participants to co-define the agenda and its objectives so that it responds to their interests. (See this early article on the concept, a previous presentation here ).
